3D printing for business

Today the Government has announced a £15m investment into a 3D printing centre in Coventry. This is largely to make components for engineering purposes - things like aero-engines, aircraft landing gears and medical devices. However, we've been keeping a close eye on 3D printing as eventually it's going to be a very exciting development for all kinds of businesses.

We were really pleased to see that already the publishing industry has started to play in 3D with the world's first printed book cover:

This can only be a good thing for everybody else, as it will help bring 3D printing prices down. We're sure it won't be long before we'll be producing 3D catalogues, business cards and direct mail shots for our clients!
